PaniniPal is a sticker collection tracker for FIFA World Cup 2026 Panini stickers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only what's necessary to provide the service.

Data We Collect

Email address — used for authentication only
Display name and username — chosen by you, visible to your friends
Sticker collection state — which stickers you have, want, or own as duplicates
Friend relationships — other users you have explicitly connected with
Trade history — records of sticker trades you confirm in the app
Push notification token — used only to deliver in-app notifications (friend requests, trade confirmations)

Data We Do NOT Collect

Location or GPS data
Contacts or address book
Photos or media (camera is used only for OCR scanning, images are never stored)
Browsing history
Advertising identifiers

How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you and maintain your session
To store and sync your sticker collection across devices
To match you with friends for sticker trades
To send push notifications for friend requests and trade confirmations

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to any third party
Your sticker collection and trade lists are visible only to friends you explicitly add
Your username and display name are searchable by other registered users
Data is processed by Supabase (database & authentication) and Expo (push notifications)

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (US region) with row-level security enforced at the database level. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Profile tab inside the app. Deletion removes all your data — stickers, friends, trade history — immediately and irreversibly.

Children's Privacy

PaniniPal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
